The Center of Resilience Excellence South Carolina (CORE SC) is a consortium created with guidance from NASA serving as the nexus between multi-sector organizations that lead to actionable outcomes to improve societal resilience, grow the new space economy, and enhance economic and workforce development in South Carolina.
CORE SC initiatives strive to align with:
NASA’s mission directorates, such as Aeronautics, Science, Space Technology
Vision 2030: South Carolina Science & Technology Plan, facilitating economic, technology, and workforce development, and creating the foundation for the new space economy ecosystem.
CORE SC’s unique relationship with NASA provides our partners with connections to grants, academic research possibilities, guidance for procurement opportunities, and STEM enrichment for our students.
