Lettuce Grow Hydroponic Farmstand

Modeled after the first Lettuce Grow Hydroponic Farmstand grant placed at the Keith Summey North Charleston Public Library, the Center for Resilience Excellence South Carolina (CORE SC) is accepting applications to provide free indoor hydroponic gardens to select public libraries in areas experiencing food insecurity.

Successful applicants will be required to document: 1) how the garden will be used, 2) what benefits it will provide to the public, and 3) a commitment to allocate staff to maintain the farmstand for a minimum of 2 years. The grant will cover one year of seedlings along with nutrients and pH testing equipment purchased from Lettuce Grow.

To apply, please complete the form below and submit to Clare Petersen at Cpetersen@charlestoncounty.org by Friday, August 9, 2024.
